With Anxiety Coaching the first thing that we will do is to help you understand that what is happening to you is perfectly natural and not life threatening and that you are not suffering a mental breakdown. I find that that process alone brings immense comfort to most of my anxiety clients.
The second stage involves coaching you in the most effective ways to cope with any situation where anxiety has previously controlled you. Typically, this involves coaching in the following scenarios:
During this second stage, I help you create a lasting mind-set to make sure that whenever anxiety next strikes, you are fully armed to deal with it.
In general I find it takes between two to three sessions for my clients to experience a dramatic reduction in the effect that anxiety is having in their lives.
Thereafter you are free to return for booster top up sessions when and if you ever feel the need.
